Car Crashes into Lakeville KFC: No Injuries Reported

LAKEVILLE, MINNESOTA - Just after noon on Monday, February 5, 2024, emergency personnel with the Lakeville Police and Fire Departments were called out to the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) located on 165th Street in Lakeville, Minnesota, for reports of a car vs a building accident.

A small SUV had crashed through the front of the business, stopping in the front lobby area. The Lakeville Police Department has confirmed that significant damage occurred to the restaurant and the parts of the small SUV. Thankfully, the police have also confirmed no injuries were reported due to the crash in the car and restaurant.

The police tell us an 85-year-old female was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash but that no signs of impairment or medical episodes were reported after being evaluated by medical staff. Further investigation of the collision points to the cause of the crash being the driver's error.
