Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Rosemount Crash, Airlifted to Trauma Center

ROSEMOUNT, MINNESOTA – A pedestrian was seriously injured Friday morning, May 16, 2025, after being struck by a pickup truck at a Rosemount intersection, according to a press release from the Rosemount Police Department.

The crash occurred around 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Bonaire Path and Bacardi Avenue. Authorities say a Ford F-250 was traveling east on Bonaire Path when it struck a 45-year-old man who was walking in the crosswalk.

Emergency responders from the Rosemount Police and Fire Departments arrived on the scene and found the pedestrian in the roadway with significant injuries. Lifesaving aid was administered immediately while a medical helicopter was dispatched. Due to the severity of the man’s injuries, he was airlifted to a nearby trauma center.

The driver of the Ford F-250 remained at the scene and is cooperating fully with investigators. Officials have not released the identities of either the driver or the pedestrian.

The Minnesota State Patrol’s crash reconstruction team is assisting with the investigation, which remains ongoing. The intersection was temporarily closed during the emergency response, and while State Patrol conducted a crash investigation, it has since reopened to traffic.

Authorities have not yet commented on whether any citations or charges will be filed as the investigation continues.
