Bogart’s is Hosting the Final Fundraiser for Burnsville Police and Fire Families Ahead of Police Week

APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA - Bogart’s Entertainment Center in Apple Valley is again supporting local heroes with one final fundraiser this Sunday, May 4, in honor of the Burnsville Police and Fire families. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 14917 Garrett Avenue in Apple Valley, MN, and all bowling sales, not just proceeds, will be donated directly to the cause.

This community effort aims to help send families and fellow officers of those lost in the tragic February 2024 shooting to Washington, D.C., for Police Week, which takes place May 11–17. Officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge will be officially added to the National Law Enforcement Memorial, while Fire Medic Adam Finseth will be honored at the National Fire Memorial in Maryland.

Bogart’s, a longtime supporter of law enforcement and first responders, was among the first local businesses to hold a fundraiser in the aftermath of the 2024 tragedy. They are partnering with the South Metro Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #14 for one final push to ensure the Burnsville Police and Fire Departments can attend these national memorials.

“Bogart’s is proud to stand with Burnsville’s heroes and will never forget their sacrifice,” the venue said in a statement.

Bowling reservations are highly encouraged and can be made by clicking "Reserve your lane now" in the upper right corner at BogartsEntertainmentCenter.com.

Those unable to attend can still contribute—free-will donations will be accepted on-site, and checks can be written to the "MN FOP Foundation" with “Burnsville Heroes” in the memo line.

“This is your chance to come together with our community, honor the sacrifice of the fallen, and support the families and departments they left behind,” organizers said. “Bring your friends, bring your family — and let’s make a difference, one frame at a time.”
