Police Called For Fight in Oakdale, Leads to Weapons and Aggravated Robbery Charges

OAKDALE, MINNESOTA - According to the Oakdale Police, officers were called out to the 1200 block of Gentry Avenue for the report of two males physically fighting. Additionally, a 911 caller also reported there might have been a handgun on the ground near the two males who were fighting.

When officers arrived on the scene, one of the males fled on foot from officers. After a short foot pursuit, that suspect was eventually apprehended.

According to the Oakdale Police, one of the male subjects was identified as 27-year-old William Coleman from Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was booked in Washington County Jail and was charged with aggravated robbery and carrying a pistol without a permit, according to the Oakdale Police Department.

Police continue to investigate this incident and additional updates will be released once the investigation is completed.
