Mass search for Madeline (Maddi) Kingsbury is being organized on Friday, April 7th

In a press release from the Winona Police Department, they announced a mass search is being organized by the Winona County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Winona Police Department, and the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office.

They are requesting volunteers to aid in the search for Maddi and they ask that volunteers plan to be out searching for at least four hours. They are looking for individuals who are at least 18 years old and are able to walk in areas with rough terrain and long distances. They ask if you volunteer, you NEED to be able to meet these requirements and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

If you would like to volunteer, you are asked to sign up using this form: Search for Maddi sign up where you can sign up to meet at two different locations during two different time periods. The first location meet-up is at the Winona County-Goodview Fire Department, located at 4135 5th St, Winona, Minnesota. The second meet-up location is at the Fillmore County Rushford-Peterson School, located at 1000 Pine Meadows Lane, Rushford, Minnesota. The two timeframes you can sign up for to volunteer to search are 9 AM and 1 PM.

Volunteers will be assigned to a search area and then bussed to that area to search. You are asked to bring your driver’s license/form of identification. You will need to both check in and check out for security and accountability purposes.

Madeline Jane Kingsbury was last seen on the morning of Friday, March 31, 2023, when she was seen dropping off her children at daycare with the father of her kids.
