Vehicle Theft at Apple Valley Planet Fitness: Three Juveniles Arrested

APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA - The Apple Valley Police Department has confirmed that on Friday, March 8, 2024, a vehicle was stolen from Planet Fitness in Apple Valley, Minnesota. The Apple Valley Police told Limitless Media that the vehicle was later recovered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, that evening.
The suspects involved in this car theft at Apple Valley Planet Fitness are believed to be responsible for another vehicle theft in Lakeville, Minnesota. We are working to confirm when and where this other vehicle theft occurred. The car from Apple Valley was processed for evidence, leading to the arrest of three juvenile suspects.
To prevent something similar from happening to you, Apple Valley Police Chief Francis recommends that you always keep your property in a safe location or on your body. That includes your keys, phone, and wallet. Chief Francis says the safest place to store this property is on your person or within your sight. Additionally, Chief Francis says that to protect your property while at a fitness facility, you should use a small backpack or bag that you keep with you while working out. The Chief said that locker rooms are not necessarily the most secure locations as other people might have access to those areas.
