Second-Alarm Fire at Spectro Alloys Contained Without Injuries
ROSEMOUNT, MINNESOTA—A second-alarm fire broke out Monday afternoon at the Spectro Alloys facilities in the 13000 block of Doyle Path in Rosemount, Minnesota. The Rosemount Fire Department and the Inver Grove Heights Fire Department swiftly responded to the emergency and contained the fire within a few hours.
The incident began with a call to the Rosemount Fire Department, which promptly arrived at the scene. Given the severity of the fire, a second alarm was initiated, bringing in additional personnel from the Inver Grove Heights Fire Department. The Rosemount Police Department and MHealth were also present to assist with the situation.
Fire officials reported that the blaze was confined to the Bag-house section of the facility. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and no injuries have been reported. Crews remained on-site for approximately 2 ½ to 3 hours to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and to conduct preliminary investigations into the incident.
