Serious Crash in Eagan Leaves One Injured
EAGAN, MINNESOTA—Eagan Fire and Eagan Police were called to a serious collision early this morning on Central Parkway, sending one person to the hospital with serious injuries. The accident occurred at approximately 3:34 a.m. when a Dodge Dart traveling south on Central Parkway collided with a semi-truck heading west on Yankee Doodle Road in Eagan, Minnesota.
The driver of the Dodge Dart, an adult female, was severely injured in the crash and had to be extricated from her vehicle. Emergency crews worked to free her before she was transported to Regions Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The semi-truck driver was unharmed.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash. A Minnesota State Patrol commercial vehicle inspector was called to assist in the investigation. At this time, no further details regarding the cause of the crash have been released.
