Woman Arrested for Mail Theft in Eagan, MN
EAGAN, MINNESOTA - A St Paul woman was arrested after Eagan Police were called out for a woman taking items from multiple mailboxes in a neighborhood in the City of Eagan, Minnesota.
According to a criminal complaint released by the Dakota County Attorney's Office on Friday, November 10, 2023, Eagan Police reportedly arrested Susie Suttles after they received reports of a suspicious person walking through the neighborhood and taking items from several mailboxes from a neighborhood in Eagan.
When Officers arrived in the area of the reports, they found a female who matched the description and stopped to question her. In a bag that Ms. Suttles was carrying, they found a package and mail with the addresses of homes within the neighborhood. They also found checks from residents in Apple Valley and St Paul, Minnesota, in her bag and three credit cards that were not in her name in her wallet. They also located what was believed to be meth paraphernalia on her as well.
According to the criminal complaint, Susie Suttles was charged with Felony Mail Theft, which comes with a 0 to 3-year sentence and a $1,500 to $5,000 fine.
