Local community honors John Other Medicine, Jr.
The Eagan Community - alongside his family and friends - honored John Other Medicine on Sunday, August 28th, after his unexpected passing on August 24, 2022, at the age of 43.
John was a US Army veteran who enlisted in the army on March 9, 2000. He was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne out of Fort Gragg, NC. It was here he met the love of his life, Nikki. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army on February 12, 2002.
John and his soon-to-be wife arrived in Minnesota in 2006, where John would end up getting a degree in photography from a local technical college. He started up a photography business called Sacred Visions Photography, LLC. John would eventually pass doing the thing he loved, taking pictures. In the local community, John was known as a photographer, coach, and school bus driver for District 196.
