UPDATED: Two-Vehicle Crash Involving a Motorcycle in Eagan, Investigation Ongoing
UPDATE - 2:30 PM, March 20th: According to officials with the Eagan Police Department, following their investigation into this crash, they found that a BMW motorcycle was traveling south on Town Centre Drive when a Honda Civic pulled out onto Town Centre Drive from McDonald’s and was struck by the motorcycle. Based on witness accounts, the motorcycle was reported to be speeding before the accident occurred. Law enforcement determined the cause of the crash was due to the speeding motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was reported to have been transported to Regions with serious injuries. No citations have been issued.
ORIGINAL STORY - EAGAN, MINNESOTA - Emergency responders were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle just before 7:45 PM on Thursday, March 13, 2025, on Town Centre Drive, near the McDonald’s.
According to the Eagan Police Department, the cause of the crash is still under investigation as authorities collect video from neighboring businesses. Officials reported that the driver of the car sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Meanwhile, the motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital, though their condition remains unknown at this time. Authorities have confirmed that the crash was not fatal.
Eagan Police, Eagan Fire, and MHealth all responded to the crash.
