No Injuries Reported in Burnsville Two-Vehicle Crash; Passenger Car Catches Fire

BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA - A two-vehicle collision in Burnsville led to a passenger car catching fire on Thursday afternoon, though fortunately, no injuries were reported.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred on November 14th at approximately 2:25 p.m. at Highway 13 (MNTH 13) and Nicollet Avenue. A truck towing a trailer collided with a passenger car in the intersection. The driver of the passenger car was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign and was released from the scene after cooperating with authorities.

Burnsville officials confirmed that one of the vehicles involved began emitting smoke following the crash and eventually caught fire before the Burnsville Fire Department (BFD) arrived. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and evaluated all individuals involved in the incident.

The Minnesota State Patrol has stated that the investigation into the crash remains open. No further information has been released at this time.
